  35. Good looking "shiny" is a result of the image used in reflection mapping. 
  36. Most of LW's shiny or reflective surfaces use fractal noise as the 
  37. reflection image.  play with various sized bar patterns and perhaps a 
  38. horizontal gradient might help.  It's here that a shiny surface shows 
  39. it's "shinyness".

  42. In your images, use several gradient bars in an angular pattern or two 
  43. larger ones in a horizontal pattern.
